Highly recommend Plas Isa for a Snowdonia getaway. Hosts Ian and Hanneke really looked after us over the weekend and obviously take pride in providing good accommodation and breakfast for anyone wanting to explore the area. Dolgellau is a charming town and it was fun meeting the other guests also staying in the hotel.
Plas Isa Criccieth is lovely place to stay when taking a few days in North Wales. The owners Ian & Anna go out of their way to make sure everything is just right for you and as keen Golfers provide drying & battery charging facilities for their guests. Non golfers are equally catered for with plenty of places locally to see including the famous Portmeirion village only a few miles away. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean and the food is excellent but it is always a good idea to advise them when booking that you require an evening meal as the restaurant is not normally open to non residents and therefore may not be able to cater for you at short notice. Lovely place to stay. Very nice owners everything immaculate and well appointed. On site parking and bar. Added bonus for animal lovers Hughie the gorgeous lab cross. Would definitely go back. oh and very nice breakfast
Had sea view room on the top floor, it was the best view you can ever ask for. Very easy to find and plenty of parking for guests, will recommend for anyone visiting Snowdonia and needed an overnight stay nearby.

We booked a double room in Plas Isa as part of a 4 day cycling holiday in Wales. The house was lovely and beautifully looked after. The room was very comfortable and warm. Plas Isa had everything you need (and more!) for a short stay. Highly recommend it!
Stayed at Plas ISA for two nights dinner bed breakfast in a party of 24 golfers for the third time and we have already booked for 2020. Host IAN SORTS THE GOLF TEE TIMES and and assure Anna in the kitchen. The hotel is excellent and clean with helpfull staff Party all agree we have five star treatment. Food of course is excellent. Book iearly is my advice as you will not find better place to stay. Golf courses in the area are good as well so enjoy the beautiful views. Eric
